Waves darkened with blood crash upon the ocean’s shore; lamenting a voice cries for the ONE from which his hand the storm tore. Forbidden is their union in a land of shallow views; dictators whip them both as cheers of hate resonate from church pews. A man’s soul drifts dead upon the black seas; executioners kill his kind because of fears they can’t appease. “Abominable fornicators” is the cross forced upon their backs; extinguished breaths are robbed from these by the swing of the axe.
Lost lovers... forbidden to embrace in a moments touch.
Lost lovers... obligated to embrace love with a crutch.
Forever imprisoned is the man on the seashore; continually he’ll weep without ever having someone to speak for. Only the memories of lost lovers remain; thoughts and images which leads a heart to go insane. Lips burned together in desires lust; exotic passions gave way to lovers lost. Now, only a cry can linger in this moonless night; obscurity forces its way into a life once bright. Decrees brand these men as wretched and perverse; immoral and wicked – counted as part of natures worse.
Lost lovers... thought unable to love in heart.
Lost lovers... wrought as sinful abstract art.
Blessed are they by the gods to love and cherish; yet hypocrites banish the lovers from attending their parish. Why must these children put up with such anguish? Why must these children be forced to languish?
Lost lovers walk the earth seeking their freedom; lost lovers hope to escape the judgments of Sodom. Sons of the Almighty are they; kings mandated by the evil to become prey. God will not ignore as they cry and pray; for He is not one to curse them that are gay. Lost lovers may experience hate in this land of the judges; yet, it is they that understand God holds no grudges.
Cries intone the symphonies of the night; lost lovers weep as they are forced to live with fright...
