LULLABY WITHOUT END

Who in the world will mend my broken heart?
The earth is kaput as we walk apart.
Alone I’m left till death comes...I depart;
will I ever see in life a fresh start?

Singing my heart screams the tune...
the tune of a lullaby without end.

In the crypt I cry for someone to love;
someone who will enjoy me and not shove.
Someone who will always fit like a glove;
someone I will hold... love more than above.

Skin turns to ash as I live without food;
can this world really be so cold and shrewd?
Is this world so hateful... globe that excludes?
All I know is a life that takes... deludes.

I’ll tell you one more time...

Yes...

Singing my heart screams the tune...
the tune of a lullaby without end.

Broken my soul has been for centuries;
many are lost loves... aching memories.
In this writ I leave my painful entries.
Left I rot in these penitentiaries.

Oh God...

singing my heart screams the tune...
the tune of a lullaby without end!
